We went for brunch on Saturday and had the best food! Service was great, there was a slight hiccup with our order but things happen it’s how we were dealt with after that made the experience so great. Thank you Joel B for making our date afternoon so great and your recommendation of the cinnamon roll, it was amazing! Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

After having visited Deal Pier Kitchen many times,including birthdays and special occasions and also made so many recommendations, very disappointed on today’s visit, it was busier than normal, however the service was very bad , waited far too long for our order to be taken, and when it was it really hard work, we were told by the young lad that it was a new system , however no other servers seemed to have an issue, he didn’t take the food or drinks order correctly , even a simple peppermint tea he took as a decaf coffee , and when my brother asked what bread, he struggled to understand and had no idea what bread , I asked him to repeat the order, we then waited at least 20 minutes for our drinks, by which time a large party arrived which seemed to really throw them , there were at least 4 people behind the counter , standing doing nothing , when our food eventually arrived , we still had no drinks , we were told that only one person on the drinks, so not sure what the other 3 were doing, food was mediocre , coffee undrinkable and the peppermint tea cold, we gave our feedback, but it fell on deaf ears, so disappointing, and sadly won’t be visiting again.
