Decanter Winery and Dinery is truly an extraordinary establishment! I recently traveled to Edinburgh to celebrate my 60th birthday, and after careful consideration, I chose Decanter for a few key reasons:. One of my companions is vegan. The impressive menu variety. The glowing reviews. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint! From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. Our server (whose name I regret not remembering—she was exceptional!) provided outstanding service. The food was phenomenal, the wine and whiskey recommendations were spot-on, and a special bottle of champagne, gifted by a dear friend who couldn’t join us, added an unforgettable touch to the celebration. The warm, inviting atmosphere tied it all together beautifully. Words can hardly capture how brilliant the experience was. I’m already planning a return to Edinburgh in the summer of 2025, and Decanter is at the top of my must-visit list. Thank you to the entire team at Decanter Winery and Dinery for making my 60th birthday so incredibly special!
