Changing the name of an establishment while keeping the same front house workforce. Formerly Leaf. Despite the new name, the staff are still in need of customer service training. Response: 5 customers waiting long time to order food, 1 person behind the bar while other 2 just floating about and didn't have the initiative to help a colleague. The staff members were working individually instead of a team. No warmth from the staff towards each other or customers, just doing their jobs. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

Amazing experience! Food was perfect, drinks were great, & staff were lovely. One small thing, it was really cold because of the AC - other than that, it was perfect! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Deco Lounge is the newest addition to the Loungers chain. I like this Lounge a lot, despite being open for only a month, they’re already setting high standards which you’d expect in a seasoned business that has been open for some time, the interior is beautiful, large and comfortable, it’s set over two floors with so much space, yet the familiar vibes I know and love from the Loungers with the laid-back, living room style decor and artwork across the walls. The whole interior was immaculate; it still felt all new and lovely. The location is great, it’s on Bold Street in Liverpool city centre, in the heart of the city, near many shops, restaurants and bars. From my past experience visiting Loungers locations, I notice many are located just outside big city centres or in smaller towns, and this location here I hope inspires more in other cities as it’s so useful. The gluten-free selection is extensive, with so many options from brunch to fried chicken, from burgers to tapas. On my most recent visit, I only came in for coffee. One thing I really appreciated was how great the staff were; they didn’t make me feel bad or treat me any differently for just ordering a drink, and they weren’t pushy in trying to get me to order and spend more, which was great. I liked how they had the menus ready on the table. I went for the Iced French Vanilla Latte; it was good quality, and the cold foam on the top was a nice, unique touch, which elevated the drink; it made it feel premium and a little different in a good way. Overall, this is a really good Lounge in a really good location, and after ordering coffee, I can’t wait to come back and try their food menu! Price per person: £1–10 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Dietary restrictions: If you have an allergy, a manager will take your order at the bar. There is an extensive gluten-free menu.
