I ordered a T-bone steak and eggs and swapped out my toast for two buttermilk pancakes. I was asked how I wanted my meat cooked, and I said medium rare. When the food finally arrived, the steak was well-done. Not a hint of pink. Normally, I wouldn’t send food back but it was unnecessarily extra effort to cut into the meat. If you have your servers ask customers how they want their meat done, they should be able to get what they want. My server took it back and a couple of minutes later, I got another T-bone. To say I was astronomically shocked and disgusted is an understatement. I’m not sure if the cooks were pissed I sent a t-bone back and wanted to be petty, but I was given a RAW steak. Neither rare nor blue rare, it was raw inside. I lost my appetite and this kind of service is completely unacceptable, not to mention very dangerous. Denny’s, I think a proper vetting process into your cooks is necessary. If you serve steak raw, how mang dishes will you send out the door that are hazards? I don’t expect top-tier steak quality for the price that I pay for, but I do expect my food to be cooked. I tried to be as polite as I possibly can but this was a very unpleasant experience. The manager who handled this, though he comped my meal, seemed very apathetic about the situation and did not even offer an apology. The only person who handled this well was my server. My wife took a bite of my daughter's pancake and chewed on a staple. We don't know if there were any other, we left without paying and obviously expressed our discontent and outrage. The manager didn't even bother coming out to speak to us, offered us a "free desert" and said there "probably" was only one... Yeah well now my daughter birthday is gone since we are going to ER x-ray. I will be forwarding photo evidence to BC healthcare. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Had a really good experience at Denny’s. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food came out quickly and exactly as ordered. Everything tasted fresh, and the portions were solid for the price. It’s a reliable spot if you’re looking for a casual meal at any time of day. The staff made it feel welcoming, and I’d definitely come back again. Overall, a great, straightforward dining experience. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
