In case the rain took you by surprise during the promenade around St Mary's Church, stop by this restaurant. According to the guests' comments, Chinese dishes here are quite nice. Visit Dim Sum Kitchen for a break and order perfectly cooked Dim sum, beef and cheung fun. It is cool to enjoy delicious tea.
This place is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Prices are good for the quality you receive. It's a nice place with the pretty atmosphere. Google users awarded this spot 4.7.

Visited in July, just before they started their summer break. The food had an authentic Hong Kong flavour, with reasonable prices. Would definitely visit again! Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20

As an authentic Cantonese, we have our own standards for dim sum. Dim Sum kitchen is absolutely perfect choice in south london. And it is so important to mention that they have air conditioner. (Dear Londoner, you know the reason for that especially this 2026 summer) Food is great. Absolutely handmade by Hong Kong chief. If you are also a fans of Jimmy Au Yeung, he is definitely ‘an uncle from Hong kong’. The dim sum are all made at the spot, but he still can finish them with a perfect time. Last but not least, their service is also excellent. However, if you are local, you may not used to the environment which may be count as too noisy for you. But it is a truely good vibe for dim dum place. Every one talking loudly to share their mood in a ‘dim sum restaurant’ in Hong Kong.
