This was a 10/10 meal. Everything from the atmosphere, to the decor, to the service, to the playlist, was spot on. The food was the best I’ve had in Cornwall, with literally nothing to criticise. Nothing overdone, not pretentious, just fantastic quality food at decent prices, with a quality wine list, you genuinely can’t ask for more. Price per person: £100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A really unexpected treat. In every way a family venture (now 16 years standing) with Mr being the chef and Mrs the Maitress’D .. The food was inventive, beautifully prepared and executed, stylish, sophisticated and served with genuine warmth and care. The whole North Cornwall foodie vibe has ensured fabulous experiences are available everywhere, but this place is in every way equal to the best of Paul Ainsworth in Padstow or Nathan Outlaw in Port Isaac. Went here for my wife's birthday dinner. All the other reviews are spot-on. Fred (chef) and Donna (front of house) really do turn out some fabulous food and provide an amazing dining experience. The service was professional, warm and friendly - a big thank you to our waitress, Emma. Like other reviewers have said, the food you are served is of the highest standard and better than some of the Michelin-starred places we have previously been to. Considering the quality and expertise that went into our meal, we were presented with a very reasonable bill. Thoroughly recommended. Price per person: £90–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
