Imagine you're on a country drive. You're hungry and desperate so you roll into one of the many small towns dotting the countryside. You find a Chinese restaurant. You just really want to eat so you go for it. It's empty, and all you can hear is the AC unit that's dying and people clanging in the back. You strut to the front. The menu is on a sheet of paper, and you scan the combos. You pass your order on to the man in the back. You sit down, and wait. You think about your day. You think about your life. Your food arrives after about 15 mins and is set in front of you in to-go boxes. The cutlery is dropped beside with some soy sauce packets. You get to work. It's hot. It's fresh. The chicken fried rice is exactly that - nothing more nothing less. The star of the show is the chicken balls. The sauce is as it should be. The beef broccoli is salty. You finish and realize you have a small sweat goin on. You don't care because you're happy. You are happy cause it's hot as balls outside and your body is slow releasing the salt bomb you just dropped in your guts. You saunter back to the front and pay. You tip 10% because why not. The combos were fairly priced. You drive away thinking that this place was nothing to write home about, but that's exactly what you were going for. A place like this exists in most Albertan small towns. If you're looking for one in GP it's called Don's Dining. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Price per person: $10–20
