Very disappointing and overpriced food, the restaurant itself is dimly lit with no music or atmosphere, the waiters are as dull as the restaurant, no smiles or enthusiasm and just plain rude and blunt. The food was okay but didn’t match the price tag at all. Opening the menu you’re greeted with a set of pedantic rules. Wouldn’t recommend. We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Felt unwelcome and rushed all the time we were there. Surly waiter and very limited vegetarian options. Dower House is advertised as an Indian restaurant but when I asked what region specific dishes were from the waiter responded that it wasn't relevant as they were a Bangladeshi restaurant. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: £30–40 Recommendation for vegetarians: Would not recommend Vegetarian options: Very poor and no descriptions of vegetarian dishes. Parking space: Difficult to find parking
