Atmosphere: was super nice! The natural light hit the restaurant perfectly. Service: we got lovely costumer service by Andy he was super great in explaining the different options since it was our first time there we were a little clueless but he was very patient Food: The food was really good!! My fiance had The loaded fries and the flavouring was perfect I had the of sandwich was soso good just the right amount of spice for both! Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I’ve been going to DL on Commercial for years. This was my first stop into the UBC location, and it was an amazing experience. I knew what to expect from the quality of the chicken, secret recipe of the breading on the tenders, the spice and those crinkle cut crispy fries - chefs kiss. (Do people still say chefs kiss?!!) But the service here, in particular from Kieran was amazing. A very warm welcome in, from the moment we got thru the door, patience as my friend was deciding what to order, table delivery with a friendly smile - and even a couple of check ins while we enjoyed our meal. Huge shout out to Kieran and the team in the back for making this experience simply the best. Cheers! Downlow Chicken Shack at UBC is a hidden gem! The food is absolutely immaculate—crispy, flavorful fries and a juicy, perfectly cooked chicken sandwich that hits all the right notes. The sauces were on point, adding just the right kick to the meal. The only downside is the overpriced soda—$3.50 feels a bit steep—but other than that, everything else was spot on. The ambiance of the restaurant is fun and casual, making it a great spot for a quick bite. Highly recommend if you’re craving top-notch fried chicken near campus! Parking does become an issue while there’s just limited spots at front. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: $10–20
