Hi Christiann, We’re sorry you were disappointed. However, when you arrived, we were literally in the process of locking the door and the kitchen had already been closed down for the evening after having no customers for some time. If you’re planning to visit close to closing time, we would always recommend giving us a quick call first. If we know you’re on your way, we’re more than happy to wait for you. Many independent restaurants operate this way towards the end of the evening to avoid unnecessary food waste and staff costs. We appreciate that you travelled to see us, but we don’t feel it’s fair to leave a 1-star review for a restaurant whose food and service you didn’t actually experience. We hope you’ll give us another opportunity to visit and judge us on what we do best.
