We booked ahead of time. Told there were no mussels when we arrived. We waited around 45mins for our food. Our waiter told us our drinks would be taken off bill. When the food did arrive. It was tasty, we ordered Beef, Pork loin with noodles, and Thai curry. Staff were friendly, it's a popular spot. Great views. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Lovely restaurant. Great staff. Food really nice. Waiting staff were really friendly and attentive. It's a bit more expensive than you would pay on the mainland but that's to be expected due to the costs incurred of getting things to the island. It's not a lot extra and worth it. The quality of the food was great and really tasty. The chips are terrific. Recommend the beer battered haddock or macaroni made with Arran smoked cheese. Toilets were spotless and had lovely Arran Aromatics products. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Been to the Drift Inn once or twice a year for the last 5 years, always had a fantastic meal with great service. This year was different. Staff were friendly, but inattentive. The fish was overcooked, the black pudding and haggis too. The batter was brick hard. A portion of chips arrived late and they were a mixed bag of cooked and undercooked. The special dessert, strawberry meringue Sunday had little to no meringue. I had very bad heartburn the next morning, that I put down to the oil they are cooking in. We were very disappointed, and canceled another planned visit this week.
