Despite a lovely stay in the boat house owned by the Hotel Continental they appear to have changed their policy and breakfast is no longer included if you’re not in the hotel itself. Considering the £250 price point for my one night stay, I find this appalling. This is made particularly poor by the lack of kitchen in my expensive hut and the hotel’s previous policy of allowing hut residents free breakfast in the morning. £20 ON TOP OF the fee for one night is unthinkable.

What a lovely hidden gem of Whitstable! We had a lovely time for one night here. Great view of the sea at a time where its been so hot. They even gave us a parking space! Paula and Katariina were especially nice to us making sure we wer comfy. The room was airy and the breakfast was mammoth. The beach is literally 1 min walk. Thanks guys! X

Perfect location, right next to the sea. Rooms were clean comfortable and hot showers breakfast was also good. Service ok, not the most friendly staff especially on reception.
