By far the worst pizza I’ve had in Toronto. I’ve been to Eataly in other countries and unfortunately this location had the worst food. The pizza was under cooked, lacked flavour, and felt like frozen pizza. The two pasta dishes were mediocre. Quite disappointing.

We recently dined at Eataly and overall had an enjoyable experience, though there were a few inconsistencies worth noting. We had reservations for 8:45 pm but still waited about 15 minutes for our table. We noticed some larger groups who arrived after us were seated first. It wasn’t a major issue — we spent the time browsing the market — but it did stand out. For starters, we ordered the meatballs and pane. The pane was, unfortunately, dry and slightly stale. The meatballs themselves were tasty and well-seasoned, though the portion size could be more generous. For mains, we had the cacio e pepe, pizza, and lasagna. The cacio e pepe was just okay — it lacked the bold peppery, cheesy flavor you expect, and leaned a bit dry. The lasagna, however, was delicious and comforting, though the portion was smaller than anticipated. The pizza was excellent and one of the highlights of the meal. Our server was attentive and pleasant. That said, the timing of the food felt uneven throughout the evening. Dishes arrived at varying intervals, and dessert took about 20 minutes to come out. The service overall felt somewhat inconsistent. Despite these issues, we did enjoy our visit and the quality of several dishes.

We’ve eaten at Eataly Don Mills a couple of times, but only recently noticed that the quality isn’t very consistent. The food this time was pretty mid overall. We figured they might have been short-staffed because of the holiday, which is understandable, but even then the experience didn’t really stand out. For the price and expectations, we honestly think you can get better food elsewhere.
