Was part of the runners group , fantastic pies served to us portion sizes were huge! The servers were lovely and polite and did a great job serving us all with no delays, we all left with full tummys, great evening. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £10–20

We visited Edisford Bridge twice over the weekend, once on Friday evening and again on Saturday, and had a brilliant experience both times. We were exhibiting at the Clitheroe Food Festival and it was the perfect pre-festival dinner and post-festival dinner! The food was excellent, especially the pork collar, which was genuinely one of the highlights of the weekend (and Edisford Bridge had some steep competition with the festival going on, but still came out on top!). There’s a good wine list, and a great selection of beer on tap, including Kronenbourg 1664 0.0%!! We were lucky enough to have some sunshine both evenings, so made good use of the beer garden, which is a lovely spot when the weather’s behaving. Inside, the restaurant feels really homely without being stuffy. What stood out most though was the staff. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and there was a really nice, relaxed, almost familial atmosphere to the place. Really enjoyed both visits and would happily go back. (Trying to find an excuse to go back as soon as possible actually!). Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Just had lunch at this pub. We ordered fish, chips and mushy peas. We waited forever for the food to arrive, what a let down. The fish was overcooked, the batter was bordering on burnt, the mushy peas were dry and certainly not mushy and the chips were also dry and tasteless. £32 wasted. I can’t believe a so called professional chef has let this out of the kitchen.
