Ordered a beef yakisoba payed $15 for a quarter filled meal. I’ve been going to edo for years now and noticed the portions getting smaller and smaller. But this is beyond ridiculous. couple of years ago i was paying $11 for this meal to be full and now we’re paying $15 for a quarter of the portion. CRAZY. fix this. Ordered a beef bowl with brown rice and double chicken from Edo Japan and was honestly disappointed with what I received. I actually weighed the portions at home, and the numbers don’t line up with what was ordered. I did it meticulously, grabbing every piece of meat. If anything, the weight was increased due to the sauce and oil it was cooked on and the random vegetable debris. The chicken came out to only 89g, which is nowhere near what “double chicken” should be if anything, that’s less than a typical single portion. The beef portion was 76g, which also felt quite small. I understand there can be some variation in serving sizes, but this wasn’t minor, it was a noticeable difference that makes the “double chicken” upgrade feel misleading. When you’re paying extra for more protein, you expect a clear increase in portion size. I will never eat here or at any edo again. I am not surprised, though. Most places rip you off and there is no way to do anything about it as the consumer, other than to avoid fast food establishments like this one Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
