We stopped in at 9:57 p.m., just three minutes before closing, fully expecting to be told they were closing for the night. Instead, we were greeted with nothing but kindness. Shaine welcomed us with a smile, assured us they would happily make our meals, and even put the soda fountain back together so I could get a drink after it had already been cleaned. She even gave us a complimentary bag to carry our food home, even though bags normally have a charge. That level of customer service is rare these days, and it was so appreciated. The biggest surprise, though, was the food. We had noticed a significant decline in quality over the past while and had actually stopped coming because it just wasn’t the Edo Japan we knew and loved. Tonight was completely different. The food was fresh, flavourful, and exactly what we remembered from years ago. If this is what the new management is bringing, we’re excited to become regular customers again. Thank you, Shaine, for making our late-night stop such a wonderful experience. Five stars, well deserved!

The staff is so great, they greet you very nicely, and when you leave, they all say goodbye to you from the kitchen and wave. The staff is very nice, the food is very tasty and the price is very affordable, despite the area not being the best. I highly recommend this establishment. Order type: Dine in Price per person: $10–20
