Dear EFES Turkish Restaurant Clifton Road Team, I am writing regarding my order #2464, delivered on 23 June 2026. I have always ordered from EFES Clifton Road, and normally the food is very nice and delicious. My wife and children have always enjoyed your food, and this is why we continued ordering from you. Unfortunately, today’s experience was very disappointing. The bulgur rice was not cooked properly, and there was no salt at all. It felt as though the chef may have forgotten to add salt by mistake. The food did not taste fresh and seemed like it had been cooked earlier, or even the day before. This is not the standard I normally expect from EFES. I called the restaurant to complain, but unfortunately the manager was angry with me instead of handling the matter politely. The restaurant did send two replacement rice portions, but the delivery driver was also very rude, which made the situation even worse. My wife and children were very disappointed, and after this experience we feel we may not order again unless the service and food quality improve. I respectfully and humbly request the owner to look into this matter seriously and improve both the kitchen quality control and customer service. EFES has always been a good restaurant, and I hope this kind of experience does not happen again to loyal customers. Kind regards Mr Rifaat Murad.

We recently had effes food delivered to our house for a wedding banquet for 14 people. It was amazing we had 2 meat platters and it came with salads, bulgar wheat, roasted peppers and chilli's, pitta breads and dips. So much food it could easily have fed 20! It arrived right on time and piping hot. Would definitely recommend if you are having a small party Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

From the moment we stepped into Efes, we knew we were in for something special. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, full of charm and character, with a buzz that made us feel instantly at home.

The staff were absolutely wonderful – genuinely friendly, attentive without being intrusive, and so thoughtful in making sure our son felt included and well looked after. That personal touch really set the tone for the evening.

And then… the food. What a feast! Each dish was beautifully presented, bursting with colour and flavour. The mixed grill was a showstopper generous portions of perfectly cooked meats, each bite better than the last, served alongside fresh, vibrant salads and golden, crisp calamari that melted in the mouth. The flavours danced between smoky, savoury, and delicately spiced the kind of food that makes you slow down just to savour every bite.

The wine was delicious and perfectly paired with the meal, rounding off an experience that was as much about hospitality and connection as it was about food.

Efes isn’t just a place to eat — it’s the kind of restaurant that makes you feel part of the family from the moment you arrive. We left with full hearts and full bellies, already talking about when we can come back.

Highly recommended for anyone who loves exceptional food, warm service, and an atmosphere that makes you feel truly welcome.
