We had a really lovely experience here. The service was friendly and attentive, and every part of the meal was excellent. This is genuinely the best Turkish barbecue we’ve had. The quality of the meat was outstanding, really tender, full of flavour and cooked perfectly. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients. We had the set menu, and everything was delicious, from the starters to the rice, the mains and even the baklava. The hummus and the Turkish sausage were both amazing starters. Out of the mains, the lamb shish, lamb chops and lamb kofte were the standouts. Every bite was packed with flavour, and the meat was incredibly tender. The portions are also very generous. They might not look huge in the photos, but the plates themselves are very large, so you actually get a lot of food. Overall, we couldn’t fault it. The quality of the food, especially the meat, was on another level. We’ll definitely be coming back again and again. Highly recommended. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £30–40

One of the best Turkish restaurants I've visited. The meat was spectacular, especially the Lamb chops and Kofte Kebab. Very juice, tender and well marinated. We live in Purley and can't believe it took us nearly 5 years to try this place! We'll be here again very soon!

Ege restaurant is located on Purley High Street. It is a cozy, small Turkish restaurant with attentive staff, and the food was quite tasty. We ordered the mixed grill and chicken shish. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner
