The server that attended to us, was courteous, knowledgable, friendly, attentive, polite, could not have asked for a better server. the food was excellent. Reasonable priced. Table looking over the water was stunning. Couldn’t think of anywhere better to celebrated our 45th Anniversary

Lovely restaurant decor with riverside and castle views from window seats. Very good polite service. Food was fresh, hot and served very promptly. We both had fish but it was excellent. We shared a substantial cheeseboard to finish. Good value. Would recommend.

My mother and I had a lovely meal at Eight on the River. Everything was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Would definitely go back.
