Eighty-Eight is a really cool brewery, that’s serves up some yummy pizza from Portland street pizza. I grabbed the magnum pie and I thought it was tasty. The charred pineapple and peppers really made it stand out. The beer on tap was super good, I had the beach club lite, which had a nice lime flavour to it. I’d come back anytime.

Great explanation of all the beer choices, the coworker was friendly, interested, knowledgable and helped us make the right beer choices. The Amber Lager was delicious and the sour was also great. I would definitely go back to try more variety. Nice patio outside with good seating. Location was easy to access and find on Google maps. Thank you.

The first thing I think of when I hear, "let's go to a brewery", is, where are my tums? The craft beer scene has been completely saturated and after numerous years of going to beer festivals and a number of breweries, I have learned that most craft beers are awful. That's not the case with 88 and I'm excited about breweries once again. The interior is like something from Back To The Future which makes it awesome right after you walk in. I didn't realize they had food and it turns out they have some of the best pizza in the city. Focaccia bread pizza. Yes, you read that correctly and it's a good as you're thinking. Pair it with actual high quality craft beer and you're golden. The staff were friendly and helpful and this place was packed with kids, and families! I didn't think that was a thing but as a DINK, I tip my hat to those parents who say, "nope, this little monster will not stop me from having a good time." I highly recommend trying this place. It isn't far from Nitro Pinball and True Wild Distillers so make it a full shift and go all-in. You can't go wrong.
