Walking into Elite Fish Bar was like stepping onto the set of a bad sitcom where nobody got the script. The atmosphere was so tense you could cut it with a chip, clearly, the staff weren’t exactly swapping friendship bracelets behind the counter. The service was a disaster, with the unfriendly older woman at the till playing a grubby game of “food, cash, food” with hands that looked like they’d been mud-wrestling. The chips? A jaw-dropping £5 for a portion so tiny it barely covered the plate, making the £10 for two feel like a bank robbery. You’d need elite-level wealth to justify these prices for such pitiful servings. Elite by name, extortionate and miserable by nature, this place is a fishy flop so I won't be returning. Save your cash and appetite for somewhere with better hygiene, vibes and value!
