Really enjoyed this newly opened Iranian restaurant, the vibe was great and the music added to the atmosphere. The food quality was fantastic and full of flavour. We were also treated to a koobideh on the house, which was a lovely touch. A couple of things could be improved: having to order rice or bread separately from the stews or kebabs didn’t feel very true to Iranian dining culture. Also, the white wine was served at room temperature, we asked for a colder option, but our bottle had already been opened and there was no ice bucket available. It’s definitely on the pricier side for the portion sizes, but the taste and quality are there. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £50–60 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had a great experience at Ember. The restaurant has a really welcoming atmosphere and feels stylish without being pretentious. Service was excellent, staff were friendly and helped explain all the dishes to us. The food was outstanding. The grilled meats were perfectly cooked and tender. The starters were fresh and delicious. Portions were generous and everything tasted high quality. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic Persian food. Will definitely be coming back.
