We recently visited Eros with the whole team from work, and every single one of us left impressed. To start, we shared a selection of dishes including the hummus, tzatziki platter, prawns, burrata and goat’s cheese. Every starter was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious – a great way to begin the meal. For my main course, I chose the fillet steak cooked medium rare. It was cooked to perfection, incredibly tender and full of flavour. Honestly, one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time. Around the table, others enjoyed the seafood linguini, fish dishes and both the chicken and pork souvlaki, and there were compliments all round. For dessert, I had the tiramisu, which was wonderfully light and perfectly balanced. Other members of the group chose the chocolate tart and banoffee pie, both of which received glowing reviews. The service throughout the evening was excellent – attentive, friendly and efficient without being intrusive. We genuinely couldn’t fault anything. The building itself has real character and charm. It’s set within an older property that creates a lovely atmosphere, and I can imagine it feels even more special later in the year when the evenings are darker. A fantastic meal, great service and a wonderful setting. We’ll definitely be back. I can’t believe I forgot to take pictures, we were all too busy talking. Without a doubt, Eros Restaurant offers a unique dining experience that comes very close to fine dining. We chose to visit on Christmas Day, when there was a set menu due to the holidays, and we were truly impressed. Each dish was carefully prepared, with great attention to detail, both in taste and presentation. The staff were polite, friendly, and welcoming, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The only thing that, in my opinion, slightly takes away from this otherwise amazing experience is the interior design of the space, which I believe could be improved with the right changes and truly elevate the restaurant. Other than that, it was an outstanding dining experience that we would definitely love to repeat! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £90–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
