Not one to leave reviews but the food was absolutely delicious - the breakfast sandwich with sausage patty was so good. However, unfortunately found the two baristas pretty unfriendly. Made eye contact twice and they just looked away. No one checked back once I started my meal and when I went to pay, they didn’t ask how anything was, took the money and didn’t say thank you or anything. Tiny things I know but with a 12.5% service charge for a little cafe I was expecting better. I actually walked out feeling flat about having paid the service charge. Maybe I’m just too sensitive but the small things go along way. From an accessibility point of view the stairs to the toilet are really bad, I mentioned this to the waitress and they just made an awkward laugh and walked off. They could at least have some kind of rail or offer help. Of course this isn’t an issue for most but when you have obvious mobility issues some extra care or at least acknowledgment goes along way. All in all this has put me off going back which is a shame as I love the menu Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
