I’d heard good things about this restaurant, so I decided to go with my wife – we certainly weren’t disappointed. The décor is beautiful with cosy seating, but plenty of room to move. We were welcomed by a super helpful, friendly waiter, who helped us make our choices. Both of us chose the full English breakfast, which was delivered to our table in no time at all. The food was perfectly cooked using very good quality ingredients. I honestly think it’s the best cooked breakfast I’ve ever had! My wife had a lovely hot latte, which was beautifully presented, and I had an iced latte. Both were absolutely amazing. I would like to thank the waiter for his kindness and welcome, and a massive thank you to Natasha, who could not have been nicer. She made us feel so welcome and valued. What an asset to FEGO Banstead! We can’t wait to come again, and will recommend this lovely restaurant to everyone. Thank you so very much, FEGO. Jackie and John E. Jones. We went here for the first time today and had high expectations. Placed quite an extensive order and included some tap water. As I drank from the glass almost immediately I tasted and smelt a distinct dog smell! I checked with my daughter who verified it was there. I called over the waitress and asked her to smell the water in my glass saying it smelt of dog. She disagreed it smelt of dog but said it smelt stale. She swiftly removed and replaced both glasses and the carafe. The second glasses were better but still retained a slight dog odour and taste so I left it. I can only imagine the dog bowls and the water utensils are washed together. There was no offer of any recompense including the service charge which I failed to notice had still been included. I most definitely won't be returning and would be interested to hear from anyone else who has had a similar experience. Tbh it ruined any enjoyment of the food that followed and I now regret not walking out immediately after tasting the water Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £40–50 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
