I have just spent a wonderful week at the Fernhill Hotel and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Breakfast was consistently excellent each morning, and every evening meal I had in the restaurant was outstanding. The quality of the food was superb throughout the week. The beef featherblade was a particular highlight, it was incredibly tender and flavoursome, a dish I’d highly recommend. What really sets this hotel apart, though, is the people. Every single member of staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and looked after. A huge thank you to Rosie, who is doing a fantastic job managing the hotel, along with Adrian on reception, Laur, Jane and Adam who were all super attentive and friendly. Adam deserves a special mention as he was the star of the show. Everyone was brilliant, but Adam’s friendly personality, genuine kindness and willingness to stop for a chat really stood out. He made every interaction a pleasure and is a real credit to the hotel. An all-around great guy. The room was spotless, comfortable and I had a fantastic view (room 17). The views from both the bedroom and the restaurant were beautiful, making breakfast and dinner even more enjoyable. Came here to celebrate our Mums 70th birthday with a family meal. Everything was perfect from the service to the food.

We had a fantastic short break at the Fernhill hotel. The hotel has amazing sea views from an elevated location overlooking Portpatrick. We had breakfast each morning and dined twice as the food is first class. A big thank you to all the staff. You are all very kind, helpful and made our stay a great experience.
