I made a booking over a week in advance and was told the day before my reservation that the restaurant had “experienced major structural issues” over most of the week, causing them to “no longer be able to continue trading at the site”. Why did the FOH team not communicate cancellations until the very last minute? Especially as I had messaged on Instagram, emailed multiple times, and remarked on my reservation that it was for a special occasion. Deeply disappointing customer service. I’m still getting paid social ads for the restaurant too, despite it being “no longer able to continue trading”.
