We had avo/egg and avo/feta sourdough breakfast. Not impressed us. Some avo is unripe, hard to cut. The egg with chilli sauce not taste. Sorry to say that, but the food is not good, probably won’t go again. The cafe is just ok, not the very good one. But the staff is nice Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £10–20 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I'm sorry you felt you had to use Google to say you didn't enjoy your meal rather than speak to a member of staff. Our Avo dishes our some of our most popular, our regular customers love them and i personally know how good they taste. The Avo is smashed fresh in the kitchen by hand so there are rarely hard bits but sometimes that can happen. Looking at your photos the dish looks great. Please don't say the cafe is "not the very good one" when you have been once and had essentially one dish that simply isn't fair. Glad you found our team friendly just wish you had spoken to them!

Communication within the staff team could be improved. I have a food intolerance and NOT an allergy. Discussed with cafe assistant and established cross contamination was not an issue. Asa good. I was first customer of the day, yet I waited until 5 other tables had been served before my plate of toast arrived because it was considered by someone that it needed to be toasted in an oven. Frustrated as the drinks were cooling and my companions felt obliged to wait for mine to arrive. Not my first experience of this kind at Figment. Price per person: £10–20 Service: 3

Hi Sam so it seems like you are frustrated that the team did things properly and took your intolerance seriously. I am sure that you can understand that with all the allergies and intolerances it can be really challenging and the impact of getting it wrong is serious. We hope that our customers feel it is worth waiting a few extra minutes to keep them safe. Next time please just expressly say that you are happy with toast in the toaster and that will be passed on. It is frustrating that like a few other reviewers you are using a negative review to make a point rather than just speak to one of the team. Hopefully one day you will post a 5 star review when you enjoy some fantastic food and wonderful coffee in our beautiful space.

Wow just wow, by far the best breakfast I have ever had. Avocado and eggs on sourdough. Eggs supper fluffy avocado so flavoursome and the sourdough amazing. Washed down with an excellet oat milk latte Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
