We have ate here several times in the past the food was better but we visited today and the food was not to its expected standard. The fish and chips were very greasy. My niece had a Childs meal which was a fish finger which looked like it had been deep fried a hundred times and chips. She barely ate any of it. One person in our group had a pensioner meal, the other two had half lots, I had fish and chips. Overall the standard of the food was not as good as it has been I dont know if they have changed the chef. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

We visited on Saturday evening and had fish and chips. Unfortunately the chips were under cooked and the fish over cooked. Whilst we were sat eating a couple entered the restaurant and stood next to the 'wait here to be seated sign' they were ignored by both staff members. They waited patiently for roughly 7 or 8 minutes before leaving, not once did the staff speak to these people. There were 2 vacant tables but they had not been cleared. Overall the service was very poor as was the food, we won't be visiting again. Stay away. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Myself , my partner and our granddaughter. One Gluten intolerant. One milk allergy and a fat man . We were greeted by a lovely young lady and shown to our seats . To discover kids eat free on a Wednesday. As my Granddaughter has a milk allergy and my partner is gluten intolerant we always have to quiz the person taking our order . Abbie was confident and competent. So checked and double checked what was ok for the two Allergies. Very professional and friendly. She even recommended which curry sauce I should have ( I’m very fussy ) and she was right ( it’s the gluten free curry sauce by the way ) even the vinegar on the table was gluten free . Eating out with allergies and intolerances can be a real challenge. But Fish face have it right . Great staff and great food . We will be back . Oh and very reasonable price . Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Fish and Chips Mushy Peas & Curry Sauce Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free, totally catered for . Milk allergy not so great with the chicken nuggets and sausage on the kids menu both having milk in them.
