A high-end dining experience tucked away in a random suburban strip mall. The exterior is very unassuming, but once you step inside, the decor is lovely. The food is high quality but comes at a premium price. The octopus was excellent, and the Branzino and steak frites were both good. However, the star of the show was the stone pot rice. It’s a highly unique dish where every single grain of rice stands out. A bit expensive, but worth it for the rice alone. We may be back! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Went for dinner tonight as a party of 4. We had made reservations so were seated when we arrived. Although we didn't get to try their Preserved Duck Leg Claypot Rice (have to reserve 3 days in advance), we did order their Ibérico Secreto Claypot Rice. Their soy sauce blend was very tasty for it! At the end, they also add dashi broth which smelled really aromatic when being poured in; however was not as umami-forward tasting as we thought based on the scent. Octopus was grilled very well! If going, order the fries!!! Appreciate that they were not the standard frozen Costco fries that many restaurants serve. Service was pretty good with regular water top-ups and check-ins throughout the time we were there. Always a bonus that there's a free parking lot with many spots in this plaza. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $60–70

Had an excellent experience at Fish & Loaf! The food was fresh, delicious, and prepared with great attention to detail. The fish was perfectly cooked, and every item we tried was packed with flavor. The service was equally impressive—friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The staff made sure everything was perfect and created a great dining experience. If you're looking for quality food, generous portions, and outstanding customer service, Fish & Loaf is definitely worth a visit. Looking forward to coming back and trying more from the menu!
