We really enjoyed our stay here, we booked the Bacchus room which was soo cosy and comfortable - the wood fire and the freestanding bathtub really make the room feel special. The only downside is the incredibly creaky bed (even just to sit on!) which woke me up a few times in the night l and the step around the bath is very hard to see in the night - I stubbed my toe a few times too!! The atmosphere in the restaurant was really nice and cosy, friendly and welcoming staff and the food was amazing! Loads of vegan options which was excellent and not just a boring burger either. Breakfast was included in the room booking and was honestly one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in such a long time!! The location was perfect, super quiet and didn’t feel like we were only 20 minutes from home! Would 100% recommend staying here or even just popping in for some dinner.

Went for lunch in this delightful pub, whilst visiting the area. Super cosy pub with fire, excellent food and very friendly staff. Would highly recommend and will definitely return
