Such a great casual spot for lunch. It was surprisingly quiet when we came, which made it even better. The food came out fast and piping hot! The cheesy corn was just okay; it wasn't very sweet and could've used more butter or a roasted flavor. The popcorn chicken was amazing though. It was super crispy, perfectly seasoned, and great with the dipping sauce. The rice cakes had a nice chew and the rose sauce had a light kick without being too spicy. We actually liked dipping the popcorn chicken in that sauce more. The truffle spaghetti was rich, creamy, and full of umami, with scallops that were a good size and portioned well. Last night, my friend and I had dinner at Flaming Kitchen Vaughan, and it was a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and I especially loved the mentaiko spicy udon—it was flavorful, comforting, and perfectly balanced. The service was excellent as well. The server greeted us with a warm smile and was very attentive, always noticing what we needed before we even had to ask. The atmosphere was another highlight: cozy and relaxing, without too much noise, making it easy to enjoy the moment. My friend and I truly had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our evening there.
