I don’t usually leave reviews, but I was/am extremely disappointed with Flamingo this New Year’s Eve. I pre-ordered on 30th December and reconfirmed at 4:30pm, yet the delivery arrived late with two curries missing. When I called, the staff member was rude and unhelpful, left me on hold, and I had to call back on their alternative number to get a response. The food was redelivered 25 minutes later — and still wrong. In total, nearly 55 minutes of disruption ruined our New Year’s Eve family meal. After being a loyal customer for many years, I won’t be using them again. A bottle of wine as compensation isn’t acceptable, especially when you don’t drink.

I took my kids to Flamingo Pinks tonight for a celebration meal only to be really disappointed. it's such a shame because it was really nice the last couple of times I've been (granted it was a couple of years ago at least). They forgot to bring out our rice for starters. I ordered a chicken balti but found it to be really bland and tasteless and ended up leaving most of mine and sharing my daughters meal. My daughter had the Mango Korma which was really nice and for my 4 year old autistic son I asked for a half portion of chicken nuggets and chips. They brought out a huge plate (full portion-not what I asked for) with chicken pieces (which weren't nuggets) chips and salad and peas and all sorts of extra stuff which wasn't listed on the menu- if they had been I'd have asked for just the chicken and chips because my son wouldn't eat it. My daughter and I had a diet coke each which was mostly flat (but we didn't complain) and spent the majority of our meal time trying to get the staffs attention because we needed another drink each, even leaving both our glasses on the edge of the table hoping someone would notice and come and ask. They must have walked up and down past us twenty-thirty times and I felt like we were invisible. We decided to just pay and leave to go to Sainsbury's to pick up a drink as we were both parched by this point. A really disappointing meal, disappointing staff after previous visits. Such a let down.
