WOW what a great place, you must phone ahead to get in here, the owners of a true free house in the UK are amazing as is the location. Lots of different beers, ales, ciders and a great selection of zero alcohol beer & cider best I've had in the UK. Proper home cooked food here nothing microwaved all cooked fresh by Hazel, Nick behind the bar very funny dry sense of humour, love it here.

I went to the Flowing Spring as part of a group and we booked at very short notice. The venue was pleasant but accessible. There was a large outdoor garden area which seemed to be closed off for visitors. We arrived at around 1pm on a Sunday and it was fairly empty. The menu looked good because there were vegans and gluten free in our party. The ordering process was very slow, but service on the meals was reasonable once the orders had been given. Some of the items we selected were unavailable, but then mysteriously arrived when someone thought she had ordered an alternative! Overall the food was satisfactory. The salmon served in a giant yorkshire pudding was an odd one. The salmon was slightly dry and overcooked sadly. The portions were generous. The vegan options were tasty and well received. The pub is dog friendly. Price per person: £10–20 Recommendation for vegetarians: Somewhat recommend Vegetarian offerings: Vegetarian menu or section, Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes Parking space: Plenty of parking
