I found this pub by asking directions of a local woman. She pointed me back the way I was to go and actually walked me there! I asked where is the best pub Food and we were actually right in front of us! In fact she said this the the best food in Gloucester by far! We went there twice and were treated like kings. If you go, you have to pet the golden cocker spaniel named Bonnie owner is Clyde no kidding. Just a caution not all dogs are human friendly so ask first. Wow, what a lovely pub! The Fountain Inn is a hidden gem tucked away through an entrance right in the centre of Gloucester. It’s got a beautiful courtyard and a really traditional feel inside, but everything’s well kept and welcoming. Perfect spot if you want a pint away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in town! Parking space: Difficult to find parking
