I came here yesterday evening with my wife. We weren't made very welcome by the manager on arrival. He was quite rude, although later on he became rather over-effusive. The decor is somewhat tired-looking and unappealing. Fortunately, the music was not too loud. The service was very slow, although the waitress who took our order was doing her best, and was lovely (hence the one star for service). When the "pizzas" finally arrived, they were lukewarm. The toppings were spread very thinly and the much-vaunted "authentic" sourdough bases tasted like warmed-up cardboard. You needed a magnifying glass to see the extra toppings we had ordered. My Margherita had little or no mozzarella, and the vegan mozzarella on my wife's pizza apparently tasted like plastic. All-in-all, a place to be avoided. The manager seems to be Italian, in which case he should be ashamed of himself. Price per person: £10–20 Service: 1
