Popped into the Four Mile Inn on Boxing Day. It was freezing and there was only one guy who managed the bar and served the food, and although he does everything well, there is just not enough staff to cater to the needs of the patrons. Sad to see people leaving before even sitting down, when realising, this isn’t a cozy Inn but rather a frosty environment. I feel if you are going to offer a service, do it well or don’t do it at all. Unfortunately, this is the only pub and eatery in the area for people with no other options when walking. Whilst writing this, another family walks in and leaves because it’s actually colder inside than out. Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

Hi Jen, thanks for the review, unfortunately the heating system has gone down and as you can imagine we cannot get engineers over Xmas period, we were advising people of this as they came in and they decided not to stay for this reason. We have an engineer booked in for when they return to work. Sorry this has impacted on your visit but as we are sure you can appreciate it is out of our control when relying on trades people during holiday periods. Sharon and Team
