A Sunday morning drizzle, the kind that finally quenches the thirsty hills after a long dry spell. Across from Humble Roots Cafe & Deli, five or six horses grazed peacefully in the rain, unhurried, unbothered. My wife and I brought our dog along and settled onto the patio for breakfast and coffee. Rain fell softly, steadily, the kind that asks nothing of you but presence. In the middle of the city, this little farmhouse-style café felt like a small trip abroad — rustic, quiet, and quietly exotic. A peaceful, atmospheric morning. Highly recommend the patio if you're bringing a four-legged friend. This morning ( May 23, 2021 ) around 10:00 am, my friend and I went to this cafe after doing some morning errands. My friend had heard so much about your cafe, but never been there, and neither have I. And he suggested going to your cafe instead of Starbucks or even Blenz coffee, which was nearer to where we were instead of driving 20 mins to your cafe, but we thought let’s support a local small cafe.

After checking in ( Okay we can accept that due to COVID restriction ) and after I told a lady we were outside in their patio, she said that someone would be out to serve us some water and take our order.

THIRTY MINUTES LATER, nobody still came to serve us AT ALL, their server walked in and out serving all of the other clients except us … and even looked at us a few times.

We left. My friend and I will DEFINITELY be sharing this experience with our family, relatives, friends, and business associates and clients and tell them all to avoid this cafe and to make sure they tell everyone they know as well !!!

I had your ceaser wrap today! It looked nice. I took it out. I was a little disappointed. 12.00 for a wrap is fine. I didn’t have much chicken in ? I had it with spinach instead of kale. Was there supposed to be something on the side? Anyhow I was pleased with the service. I think it would be nice if you had a menu board to see what you have it’s bit confusing .
