had a lovely meal this evening at The Gaff Rigger and couldn’t fault a thing. The food was absolutely delicious — I chose the chicken supreme special, which was perfectly full of flavour. My dad ordered from the ‘Pasta and Plonk’ menu and thoroughly enjoyed his meal as well. The service was warm, friendly, and attentive throughout. It was great to find a place that gets both the food and the atmosphere just right. I would highly recommend The Gaff Rigger to anyone looking for a great meal in Hamble — we will definitely be returning! Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great food and service but the restaurant itself felt like a canteen with kids toys strewn in a corner. The oysters were delicious and the crab salad was huge! I needed help to finish it! We will be back Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
