Went for lunch, standard pub fare that was cooked well with good service. It was quiet hence the 3 stars for atmosphere. Price per person: £10–20

Overall the experience wasn’t the best. I still gave it 2 stars because the staff were pleasant despite the issues they were facing. The cider on draught ran out so it forced you to buy bottled cider at almost £2 more expensive. (A great marketing ploy to get the spend over the bar up???) Then NO alcohol free drinks as they had totally ran out.. A pub where you have to drive to and there’s NO alcohol free drinks!!! They are encouraging drink driving!!! Lastly to be told that they have a new chef and unfortunately he has totally burnt your food so there will be a wait while your meal is re-cooked. Hang on a minute here, no draught cider, no alcohol free lager and the chef can’t cook properly. Again, despite all of this the staff were so pleasant and apologetic. Unfortunately I will not be returning to this pub. Price per person: £20–30
