Bardzo dobre jedzenie, pyszna kaczka, uwaga - duże porcje , ja musiałam poprosić o zapakowanie do pudełka, bo nie byłam w stanie zjeść. Podoba mi się zwyczaj przenoszenia kawałków pomarańczy do herbatki na koniec.

The dim sum were delicious and the service was phenomenal. I highly recommend coming here. It is quite expensive though. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20 Recommended dishes: Egg Fried Rice

Gold Mine in Queensway delivered exactly what I was hoping for from a classic Cantonese roast meat restaurant. The star of the meal was unquestionably the roast duck—beautifully cooked, wonderfully savoury, and packed with flavour. The skin had that satisfying roasted richness while the meat remained tender and juicy, with enough seasoning and natural duck flavour to make every piece enjoyable. Having eaten plenty of Cantonese roast duck across Asia, the standard here was genuinely impressive rather than merely good “for London”. Gold Mine is relatively straightforward in presentation and atmosphere, but when the roast duck is this good, very little else matters. Sometimes you visit a restaurant for one signature dish and leave completely satisfied; this was one of those occasions. I would happily return to Queensway just to have the duck again.
