Have I just been lucky?? I've lived in the local area for all of my 50+ years and never been disappointed by The Golden Flower no matter who has owned it at the time of ordering. To be fair in the last 10 years or so I have only had takeaways every 3-4 months as I love to cook all sorts of food but every time (and probably more true in recent times) The Golden Flower has consistently provided great meals for myself and my wife. We have always collected so I can't comment on the delivery service which seems to be a bit hit-and-miss judging by some of the low reviews. Also, we don't have any ailments or allergies and we're not mentally ill so I can't comment on vegan options. Prices have increased quite a lot since the nonsensical events of 2020 but that is true of everywhere. I would definitely recommend The Golden Flower since the food is always good and they have friendly customer service. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £10–20

Just bought some bbq spare ribs, when I opened the box the ribs were dry and looked liked they had been cooked the night before, they had hardly any meat on them and as hard as leather. It’s a shame really because the food there is usually ok. However really disappointed and definitely won’t be buying from there again. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
