Absolutely the best Chinese takeaway in Southampton! The ladies that work there and the delivery drivers are so lovely, whether I phone in or go in they're always so friendly. And the food, well it's simply delicious we've been getting food from here for nearly 20 years and have probably been spoilt because nowhere else ever tastes as good! In the past on days Golden Pool have been closed, we've tried other Chinese takeaways, but no-one has ever come close to them for taste or service, so now we don't bother, Golden Pool is the only Chinese takeaway we will use. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Ribs, Chicken Balls, Chow Mein, Sauce, House Special Chow Mein, House Special Fried Rice Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labeled vegetarian dishes Vegetarian options: There are quite a few vegetarian options and you can request a lot more dishes to be made without meat.
