I loved the food here. Ordered dim sum and ma po tofu, both of which were exceptional. The interior of the restaurant is really pleasant and a really nice touch to see an open kitchen with the dim sum chefs working. I took my girlfriend here, as she loves Chinese food. We ordered the set meal for two to avoid wasting time, which had a huge variety and quantity of food, and most of it was amazing. The only slight letdown were the spare ribs, which had a bit more fat than expected - but to be fair, they were still tasty. The service was top notch, all staff friendly and courteous. We weren't keen on sitting near the main doors, and the staff didn't make a fuss and showed us some other seats. There were two issues which weren't food related. The first was the terrible acoustics - the restaurant really needs more fabrics to absorb sound, for instance large tapestries on the walls and having carpet instead of tiles. Second, the lighting is way too bright - it feels more like a chicken shop with such bright light. Dimmer lighting would also attract a different clientele and give more of an air of sophistication, but that's just personal taste and preference. Nevertheless, I would still rate the Good Fortune Club 5* because the food and service are top notch - keep it up!
