We had an excellent evening at the Grapes Inn a few nights ago.The atmosphere was real village pub. The staff were very obliging despite being busy. Five of us ate there and had a lovely meal. I would go so far as to say the steak and ale pie was possibly the best I have ever tasted ; clearly home made and a generous portion. All the other meals, including one vegetarian, were of a similar standard. When back visiting the Preston area again I will make a point of eating there. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £20–30 Recommendation for vegetarians: Somewhat recommend Vegetarian offerings: Not sure Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge street parking Parking: Dog friendly in the bar area Kid-friendliness: There were no children in at the time of my visit Wheelchair accessibility: Access with care due to cobbled pavement area
