Basic but clean rooms. Very friendly staff. Great value for money in the middle of Neath so some rooms will get the noise from the clubs close by. Good continental breakfast. Very nice bar area. Always my go to when in Neath.

The room was large and bathroom very clean. However one wall looked like there had been a leak of some kind between the windows and was all brown. We stayed 2 nights. When we returned on the first full day for the 2nd night, saw the bed hadn't been made and was pulled over as id left it. The bins hadn't been emptied and still the same damp towers from showers that morning. Went to the bar to get a drink and no staff there to serve. Waited about 5 minutes then went to reception to ask where some bar staff were and was told would be there soon. We got up and left. The entrance and downstairs look amazing I must say but didn't make up for everything else. On a Friday and Saturday-the nights we stayed- there are three clubs directly opposite that were loud until about 3am. I was disappointed. We chose it as only a 5 minute drive from family. Service: 2

I had an excellent stay at the Castle Hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Great breakfast buffet. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
