Very very thankful to the amazing owners of The Grotto for accommodating our group’s dietary restrictions and for creating a truly welcoming and happy atmosphere to celebrate my friend’s birthday!!! As a joke I said that if they had a sombrero, that would be a great addition - and they had it!! The cake had a candle on, the service was immaculate and perfectly timed such that we had enough time to talk between the courses. As I mentioned - dietary restrictions were met and exceeded our expectations, to the point that a friend with the restriction was surprised because typically restaurants can’t prepare flavourful and complete meal meeting their needs, but The Grotto adjusted their preparation methods to accommodate it! Grotto is a great Mexican spot with a really nice vibe. The food was fresh, flavourful, and well presented, and the menu has some great options if you want something a little more elevated than the usual Mexican place. The cocktails were a big highlight too, well made and perfect for a night out. Good atmosphere, good service, and definitely a place I’d come back to for dinner and drinks.
