Great food and coffee, but service is extremely slow. Waited around 35-40 minutes for food, and asked for extra sourdough which took 20 minutes. Asked for a pastry, which never came in the end It’s a shame as amazing food and vibes, but service is just too slow to come here again! Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

We took the focaccia pesto mozzarella and pesto chicken baguette and the appearance was relatively nice. The place looked nice and the girl that served us polite. However, the food didn't meet the expectations at all. Don't know if it was because it was Sunday, and we went around 9:30am, but the focaccia was not crunchy at all from the outside and the inside not nice, and the baguette was pretty similar and dull, both breads seamed to be from previous day the least. Definitely disappointing experience as you would expect from a bakery to have very good quality of these breads, definitely not worth the price for these which was around 5-6pounds. Ground bakery serves the best breakfast in Cardiff, some might say it’s on the pricey side, but it’s worth the money . The portions are big, sausage , beans are house made and very delicious, it’s not the regular store bought items, and not to forget about the overnight bacon which always makes me want to come back for more. Guess they change their coffee beans from Time to Time cos sometimes coffees are good and sometimes it’s not strong. But the experienced baristas will always serves the coffee will an amazing latte art. They also offers a range of bakes too, there is a range of savory and sweet bakes, always something for everyone. I love the cardamom bun, hazelnut chocolate crossiant and cheese and onion pastry. Highly recommend to try the Ground Breakfast. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Cinnamon Roll, Focaccia Bruschetta, Overnight Bacon Mushrooms Eggs
