We hired the private room for my son’s 21st birthday party and were very pleased we did. We looked at a few places but decided on the Grumpy Monkey. I would say at the height of it we had circa 70 people there. The room was perfect size, you could get more in but didn’t feel too big or too small with 70, the bar is well proportioned and there was enough room for the dj as well. Another nice touch was that we could display photos through a big screen on the wall, just behind the dj which made a good focal point. The room created a great party atmosphere and the big gorilla was a hit for photos. The room has its own side private entrance, with an area outside where people could sit which was great as it was a lovely evening. We paid a deposit which we got back as we hit the minimum spend over the bar. The only cost therefore was the dj which we privately arranged but I did ask Emma the coordinator for recommendations and we selected from one of those (DJTarz - unfortunately he had a family emergency that day but he arranged an alternative for us djbeatz and he was brilliant). I would have no hesitation using the room again and liaising with the team at grumpy monkey again. We initially contacted Emma who we made arrangements through. Emma was very helpful and always replied to questions by phone, WhatsApp or message so was easy to contact. On the night Aidan the manager looked after us answering any questions. We always had 2 people behind our bar which meant people didn’t have to wait too long and they had security on our door as well. A great experience and if I was 21 again or we have another celebration needing a similar room I would be straight back here. Thank you team at the Grumpy Monkey. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The venue was very good and the bottomless was handled brilliantly by the staff myself and the group I attended with were very happy. The security staff were also very approachable and helpful during the duration of our visit. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
