Food is AMAZING. We ordered the veggie gyoza, cheese wontons, red dragon roll and dynamite roll. Our order was served promptly and the staff was very sweet! Some of the best sushi ive ever had, would 10/10 recommend! Yan was an amazing waiter Price per person: CA$30–40

Please don't miss out on this place! The food is honestly so, so delicious and the quality is amazing, especially for Downtown prices. It’s a cozy, lovely family-run restaurant with a very welcoming atmosphere, making it perfect for date nights, friends gathering, or small families. The owners seem to be a married couple—they are incredibly friendly and warm, and they clearly know how to cook amazing food (haha!). This is the second time my small family has come back here. I truly hope this restaurant gets the recognition it deserves. If you are passionate about authentic, traditional Japanese dishes like sushi or tonkatsu (fried pork cutlet) that you often see in Japanese food movies, this is the place for the most genuine experience. It’s one of the only places in Toronto I’ve found where you can get chicken katsu curry for $14. The daily specials are affordable, filling, and delicious. The miso is a little mild though. I’m always the only one in here when I get lunch and I feel like Gyuki needs more love. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
